About us

Meet our founders

We are three electrical engineers who have been driving industrial projects in IT security, industrial communication and data analysis since 2015. We are closely connected with industry and standardization — including as an OPC Foundation member and official Umati partner.

Adaept Engineering is an engineering firm with deep roots in research and a clear goal: making machines more intelligent.

Since 2016, as experts for embedded systems, OPC UA and IIoT, we have been supporting medium-sized companies and machine manufacturers in making their systems digitally fit for the future.

milestones

Our journey: From idea to innovation

Research & Start-Up

In 2015, the founders of Adaept Engineering started out as research engineers and develop innovative solutions for industry.

First projects

We have successfully implemented initial projects and established our expertise in communication interfaces, IT security and data analysis. We are expanding our reach through international collaborations and engineering conferences.

International activities

Since 2018, we have been involved in the committees of the VDMA and the OPC Foundation. Together with global players in robotics and intralogistics, we are involved in the design of OPC UA.

Shaping the future

We rely on established standards, research and development to actively shape the digital transformation of industry, including the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) and the Digital Product Passport (DPP).

responsibility

We shape industrial digitization — from within

As part of international standardization bodies, we are actively promoting open industry protocols such as OPC UA. Instead of just implementing them, we help develop the rules by which machines communicate worldwide.
